Audit Partner

Cristina is the founding partner of the TPA Horwath audit practice.

Cristina is a Certified Public Accountant of California USA (CPA), a member of the Romanian Chamber of Auditors (CAFR) and a member of the Romanian Chamber of Certified Chartered Accountants (CECCAR). She has extensive experience in Romanian Accounting Standards, US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Cristina holds a Degree in Aeronautics from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest. In her over 15 years of experience in the fields of auditing, assurance and advisory, Cristina spent 9 years working for a leading Big 4 public accounting firm, 3 years of which she spent in the United States of America at the firm’s San Francisco California office, where she gained significant international experience and was involved in audits for various companies, from start-up businesses to listed companies.

Her main responsibilities at TPA Horwath Romania include audits and other audit related services for clients working in the fields of technology, retail, manufacturing, entertainment and media, services, real estate and construction. She also deals with audits for not-for-profit organisations as well as EU financed projects. In addition to her auditing expertise, Cristina has a strong background in business advisory services, performing due diligence and other transaction support for companies operating in various industries, such as the oil & gas, real estate, retail, chemicals and aeronautics.
