TPA Horwath’s accounting practice in Romania is lead by Anca Bogdan. Anca has more than 12 years of experience in accounting, auditing and financial consultancy for local and foreign companies. Anca became ACCA qualified in 2003 and is member of the Romanian Chamber of Chartered and Certified Accountants (CECCAR).

Her background comprises 6 years’ experience working with an International Big 4 company with a focus on International Financial Reporting Standards and Romanian Accounting Standards audits for various industries, such as oil & gas, industrial manufacturing, retail and consumer goods, services, entertainment & media, and real estate. Anca has also offered training on IFRS standards to audit clients. Anca gained her first business experience during an almost 3 year period working as Finance Director for a large international group of companies, where she was responsible for developing the financial strategy, managerial tools including drawing up budgets, and regular management accounts, forecasts and tax planning. She has perfected the internal policies and procedures within the Group.

At TPA Horwath Anca supervises the accounting, tax compliance, payroll and IFRS reporting work, which is carried out by more than 30 highly qualified employees. Anca has also given internal and external seminars on financial topics.
