We are pleased to announce that Mihaela Marin, an experienced real estate and consulting lawyer, has joined our firm as Attorney at Law, Of Counsel.

Mihaela has considerable experience on the Romanian real estate market, where she has acted as senior legal adviser in the acquisition, development and operation of various shopping centres, office buildings, industrial parks, land and residential projects. Mihaela also has extensive experience in the fields of general corporate, mergers and acquisitions, telecommunications and insurance.

Prior to joining TPA Horwath, Mihaela coordinated the legal work for one of the largest Romanian holding groups in acquisitions in Romania and Europe in real estate, press, retail, etc., in the development and management of the group’s various enterprises.

Previously, Mihaela used to combine legal work, as the legal manager for all day-to-day legal issues (corporate, banking/financing, real estate expansion, permitting & regulatory), with general management and coordination of activities for one of the largest shopping mall developers in Romania, the Irish based firm Caelum Development.

Before that Mihaela alongside our TPA Horwath legal partner Cristina Gheorghita has been part of Salans law firm as a senior associate, where she was involved in various cross-border transaction projects in fields such as real estate (commercial projects, agricultural and forestry), corporate, pharmaceutical and medical, hotels, advertising campaigns, cement, and the brewery and diary industry.
